NO LOSS STATEMENT
If your firearm business has never experienced any claims, or if this is a new business, complete a No Loss Statement. You do not need to email it to us — once submitted, it automatically notifies the Kelly Insurance Group team.
CURRENT LOSS RUNS
If your business currently has insurance coverage, we need copies of your carrier loss runs for the past 3–5 years. Click the button to view instructions and copy a ready-made email to request them from your current agent or carrier.
WHAT ARE LOSS RUNS?
Official claim history reports issued by your current or prior insurance carrier, documenting all open and closed claims, losses, and payments during your policy period. Carriers typically provide 3–5 years of history. Any new carrier will require these before issuing a quote.
HOW TO REQUEST THEM
- Contact your current agent, broker, or carrier directly.
- Request “loss runs” for the past 3–5 policy years in PDF format.
- Request for each policy type: GL, Property, Products Liability, Umbrella, and Workers Comp if applicable.
- Standard turnaround is 3–10 business days.

If your business involves any manufacturing or gunsmithing operations, you must prepare and upload all of the items listed below before your submission can be underwritten. These documents are required by the carrier — incomplete submissions will cause delays.
A complete written description of all products you manufacture or gunsmithing services you perform. Include scope of work, materials, processes, and any specialized or custom operations.
Any marketing materials, product catalogs, or technical specification sheets describing your manufactured products or services offered.
Samples or copies of product packaging, user instructions, and all safety warnings included with your products as sold or delivered to customers.
Your current price list for all manufactured products or gunsmithing services. This helps underwriters evaluate product exposure and establish appropriate coverage limits.
Have all of these items ready as digital files (PDF, image, or document) before proceeding to the upload step.
PREPARE ALL LICENSES FOR UPLOAD
All applicable licenses must be uploaded with your application. Have digital copies (PDF or image) of each of the following ready before proceeding to the final step:
Your current ATF-issued FFL. All FFL types accepted — Type 01 dealer, Type 07 manufacturer, Type 08 importer, Type 09 dealer in destructive devices, and others.
All state-level licenses required to operate your firearm business, including state dealer permits, business entity registrations, and any state-issued manufacturing or gunsmithing licenses.
Any county, city, or municipal business licenses, zoning permits, or local firearms dealer permits required by your jurisdiction to operate at your location.
